WORKSHOPS
Join me for my workshop tour 'Shoshin' a journey through mixed movement. Moving from a place of Shoshin - the zen Japanese word for 'The Beginners Mind' that allows you to become more expansive, immersive and dynamic within your movement practise. A full system reset into the possibilities and capabilities of the human body.
Open yourself to the beyond through Shoshin
There is a profound simplicity that calls to us from beyond.

When we feel safe enough to truly lean into the unknown, when we trust our bodies enough to give it to the unseen we open to our natural being & movement that has been there all along.

The Journey
WE WILL WORK THROUGH
01
Breaking Patterns
Moving with intention and purpose rather than habit.
03
Growth
Growth can't happen without embracing the discomforts.
02
Purpose
Moving with purpose offers a richer and fuller thirst for movement offering space for growth.
04
Self Discovery
-
An understanding of your capabilities of the body and mind.
-
Patients within the practise of movement.
-
The ability to withstand the challenges. To fail and recover.
And it is when we truly embrace the quality of patients we open ourselves up to listening without needing to seek, react, attach nor create anything beyond what the moment presents to us while increasing awareness and attention to inner sensations and subtleties of one's sense of self.
Shoshin Workshop Series
A series of workshops that work off of Shoshin. The Zen Japaneses Buddhist word for the beginners mind. There is a concept in Zen Buddhism known as shoshin, which means “beginner's mind.” Shoshin refers to the idea of letting go of your preconceptions and having an attitude of openness when studying a subject. When you are a true beginner, your mind is empty and open. Shoshin refers to adopting a mindset of humility and curiosity when approaching a subject — even if one is already at an advanced level.

‘No one has truly mastered movement until it can be used in a multitude of ways'.

I offer the workshops in order (1,2,3, 4) over a period of time so I can build a strong relationship with the students and studios I work with. This also encourages further and progressive learning that can take your movement knowledge and practice beyond the studio and begin to integrate them into your everyday life.
The workshops are also available to book as a single workshop. Learn more about each workshop by clicking on the image below.
